My touchscreen on my Swift GO 14 (SFG14-71T) does not work. I've tried different ways to try to fix it but cannot seem to find a solution. I've tried to search for driver updates, uninstalled/reinstalled touchscreen drivers, and factory reset my laptop. I've had this laptop for about 3 months now and it has occasionally randomly started working once in a while but very rarely.

That doesn't sound good, but at least you are still in warranty. What does Device Manager say about the tough screen? Are there any, seemingly unrelated, error or warnings in Device Manager? The touch screen is connected to the motherboard via an internal USB connection, plus an I2C serial connection. If one of those is acting up it might show in DM. You might try reinstalling the Serial IO drivers…

I had the same problem and it happened to be because of the bios version, after updating that it has worked ever since for me.

Try all that you can with drivers and/or upgrade to the last bios version 1.08 titled: Update security code for Windows 24H2 Refresh Plan”, if it doesn't work and/or fix the touchscreen, send the Swift Go SFG14-71 laptop back to where you bought the laptop from, be aware that this laptop is a 2020 Acer model laptop with a 2023/01/30 “Update Specifications” model revision so the Acer warranty could have expired on your laptop and if you have a warranty get this laptop fixed asap as it could need a new N140JCN-GE9 REV.C1 touchscreen which is $144.99. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

These are all the SFG14-71T laptops LED screens that Acer fitted to this laptop, the highlighted screen is the Touchscreen that your laptop should have, your laptop could also have a faulty eDP cable so look at that also:
