Predator helios neo 16 (PHN16-72-98J4) stuck at installing 64% then restart loop

Hi, I tried to do a clean reset to my laptop, but it keeps restarting, the predator logo will appear with the word welcome then flash a blue screen telling me the installation is at 64% and repeat.

-Can’t boot with safe mode.

-I already tried to do the clean reset several times but still face the loop.

-I also tried to install the window with installation media usb but found no ssd, only my usb was shown.

  • Hi @BBtion what procedure are you using exactly to reinstall?
    In the case of creating an installation USB from Microsoft, depending on the computer you may need the Intel RST driver for the disk to be recognized, what model do you have exactly and what version of Windows?
    Is your disk mechanical or solid state? If it is mechanical, it may have bad sectors and cannot write to them and stops at that percentage.

    Hi!

    -I reset by going to settings > system> recovery > reset pc

    -The model is PHN16-72-98J4, window 11.

    -The disk is ssd.

    I took my laptop to a local pc store and they told me that my laptop's temperature was unusually high, from 70 celsius at the start then went up to 90 celsius after that.

    They think the reason my laptop was unable to go pass 64% loop was because it was forced to shutdown due to overheating, and they can't do anything about it.

    So I'm going to take my laptop to a nearby Acer service center tomorrow. 🥲
