There are many mosfet chip in a laptop and we can't direct you to one that has shorted out, if your laptops hasn't got any power or it can't be turned on then your G9-791 laptop could have a burned mosfet at the DC-IN port that a technician should look at first and trace the main power rail of your laptop.

The red circled area below are just two mosfet chips in your G9-791 laptop

The G9-791 and G9-793 have the same mainboard construction and chip composition, a MOSFET is like a switch that switches different functions of the laptops mainboard functions and there are many of them not only the two that I've red circled above and that I've shown you. A laptop has many MOSFET chips, so be aware of that as that is why its hard to advise you where your G9-793 laptop mosfet chip has blown as the most common mosfet that blows, is internally just after the DC_IN port and then the laptop will not power on. Its best that you take your Predator G9-793 to either Acer tech support in your country or an experienced technician in your area.

  • You will also need access to the main board's electrical diagram to help you analyze the board's circuit! You will also need to have knowledge of electronics to make the repair!

I strongly suggest that you do not try to fix and/or change mosfet chips on your mainboard, as you need the proper micro soldering tools and a microscope and its a specialist job. Also and to know how to read and understand the "main board's electrical diagram of this laptop" (if you can get one?) you need to be a technician and knowledgeable in electronics, and if you are not, then don't waste your money attempting to fix your mainboard as its cheaper to get a qualified technician to fix your boards mosfets that have shorted/burned out or it could be other chips that are causing your laptops problems.
