Is the battery life of a laptop really a maximum of 10 hours? see: https://www.productindetail.com/pn/acer-aspire-vero-av14-51. I find it somehow not enough and it discourages me a bit from buying.

It all depends what programs and apps are installed, what runs at the background, is your brightness set at 120 nits (60%) are you browsing or streaming on the internet and is Windows battery saver permanently on. For the average user a more realistic battery life span is 5 hours. You may get 10 hours battery life if you use Windows Power Saver Plan, limit your browsing without playing any music/videos and tweak the settings in Windows11 Energy savings. Even so, batteries degrade with time and after a couple of months those 10 hours battery life will be no longer feasible. You can try to extend laptop battery life with a Baseus Blade 100-Watt power bank

I wouldn't be worried about the battery life with how powerful it is I mean it's only got a little thin tablet battery but it's one of the best laptops there is for the price it's hard to find 12th gen i5 with 10 cores and 12 processors with it being a hybrid with a performance side and an efficiency side with 16 GB of RAM for under 300 bucks
