Hi all,

I've been playing with Sync capabilities of the monitor. In order to take full advantage of the monitor refresh rate you need do the following:

1. Turn on Free Sync (from the monitor menu)

2. In Nvidia control panel, turn on V Sync and G Sync2 (if you are using Nvidia card).

3. Make sure (enable settings for the selected display model) is turned off.

4. In game, turn off V Sync.

This was my experience. I spent hours to conclude step 3 :)

    Thank you for info.

It's noticablely different before and after applying. In addition, if G Sync is not showed in Nivida control panal. Reinstall the driver. Veiw 27 is supporting G Sync.

You're welcome. For me the reason why G-sync may not show in Nivida control panel is because you need to enable it first on the monitor menu (step # 1).

I could not get it to work. NVidia Pendulum Demo shows "GSync off".

    What I did:

    • Enabled Free Sync on the monitor
    • Set "Vertical Synchronisation" in 3D Settings to "On" on the global settings tab.
    • Enabled GSync under the "Display" settings, with "Enable settings for the selected display model" unticked

    Did I miss anything?

don’t worry about that demo info, do you notice any tearing or stutter ? If not it’s working fine. Try any game with v-sync off.

How is the ghosting/crosstalk on the 27" model compared to the 15.6"? 🙂
