So i have AMD Athlon Gold 3150U version. I'm setting up an eGPU enclosure as follows:
1. Thermaltake 450W PSU
2. EXP GDC V10.2a
3. Sapphire pulse RX580 8GB
4. HDMI from GPU to Monitor.
5. Im using M2 slot as oculink adapter to EXP GDC.
6. My SSD is being booted externally via USB 3.2 port.

So, the issue is the GPU is not detected within the display adapters. I went to BIOS, there is no settings would allow the BIOS to recognize the GPU. Kindly need your help and understanding.

The C24-420 AIO has only USB 3.2 Gen1 and Gen 2 ports that are NOT display port and its the reason why your eGPU setup is not detected on your Aspire C24-420 AIO. You need a Thunderbolt port for your eGPU setup to connect to and for it to be detected and its drivers to work, which your C24-420 hasn't got.

But don't stress as you can connect your Aspire C24-420 AIO to the eGPU setup that you have through the Wireless LAN M.2 2230 slot of your AIO which will mean that you will have to have a USB dongle for Wireless LAN or only use the Killer E2600 LAN RJ45 port and cable that has a LAN protocol of 10/100/1000 Mbps which is allot better to use

Note: The M,2 2230 port eGPU setup is a better setup for gaming than a Thunderbolt port connection so you will not lose on anything. There are many guide of how to connect a eGPU through the M.2 2230 port so modify your setup to suit that. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Hi. Im using m2 ssd slot for my eGpu setup. I guess at this point, the main issue is the eGpu is not detected in my device management as a driver due to the bios compatibility issue. The bios does not have any settings that would recognize my eGpu.

Go into the BIOS > Advanced menu > CPU and Chipset Configuration > Access this submenu to configure display adapter settings > see if changing any of these settings disables the integrated cpu graphics and will allow the Sapphire pulse RX580 8GB driver to be detected as and otherwise I have no idea as I haven't got much experience with eGPUs as ther might be another community member that can help you out. Good luck anyway.
