Hello

Trying to reboot I enter into a command line window. Filling in “insmod part_gpt, insmod chain” and the rest. I then come into a window requesting for a password which I don't have. Filling in 3 times the wrong one I reach a window which says, “do not shut down” or “continue” The latter request a FAT/FAT32 USB witch I inserted. After “continue” it says “enter unlock code” or “continue” after witch I come into the “do not shut down”, menu again. So an endless loop. My conclusion: I can’t boot via a stick because I don’t reach the boot order screen. I also can’t use the solution found in https://www.biosbug.com/acer-all/ because the FAT32 USB isn’t found.

Could you assist me in this? Thank you in advance,

With kindest regards, Hans van Zonneveld

try this site follow instruction like they say and dont forget to accept cookie and give me news about it hehe already used that on 3 different models of pcs https://www.biosbug.com/acer-10-digit/

    you can also :

    CMOS Reset

Carefully open the laptop's back panel to locate the CMOS battery, a small round battery on the motherboard. Remove this battery for about five minutes, then reinsert it. This action can reset the BIOS to its default settings, potentially clearing the password.

and as far as i know helping you further would break the forums rules .... this was the max i could do but personally before trying whatever call a pc tech and inform urself by explaining him the situation and how much it would cost to ya maybe the price dont even worth the work or maybe it will be too high and then i suggest the acer consumer care :)
