Hi, are you using the 135-W barrel port power adapter that came with the laptop? If you have the RTX 4050-4060 that consumes 115 Watt, and the small adapter won't be able to charge the battery and power the dGPU. Consider upgrading to a 180-Watt adapter or more powerful. If you are using a USB-C charger only, that should be a gaming charger like the Asus Rog 100-Watt charger: ROG 100W USB-C Adapter | Gaming chargers-and-adapters|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global (asus.com)

I have the 4060 on yes I’m using the 135 watt I did research on if I can have bigger power supply most people say it won’t work if I get bigger one if it’s this much a problem I might just return it if it comes with this many problems in the beginning

Sorry to say but seems like the laptop is way underdimensiode regarding power.

Thanks for contacting Acer Technical Support!

Unfortunately the computer model, according to the Product specifications on our Support Page, lists that the unit you have has a Maximum Power Supply Wattage of 135W. As such, it is not compatible with the 180W one.

    Best regards,

    Christian
