The Aspire 5750(G) is a great old laptop and one of the best that Acer has ever made, I had one from new and this is the upgrades I did to it, so I speak from personal experience. Upgrade the following Aspire 5750G components:

    • CPU upgrade to i7-2820QM
    • RAM - upgrade to 8GB max total at 2x DDR3-1333MT/s or DDR3-1600MT/s speed
    • HDD - upgrade to 2.5" SSD Samsung 870 EVO
    • Buy a caddy get rid of the DVD drive, and put the old spinner HDD in there as a slave drive for extra storage the
    • Use Win-10 or Win-10 Pro as operating system

All the above upgrades will work 100% and will improve your Aspire 5750G laptops speed and workability by 500% guaranteed😀 as I've had the same Aspire 5750G laptop and I've done the above upgrades but with a Samsung an older 2.5 Samsung 850 EVO SSD drive as the boot drive, so I speak from personal experience. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

The below is the oem Acer RAM fitted to the Aspire 5750G laptop, I don't know if these ram modules are still available and can be purchased but try to get either the DDR3 or DDR3L of either DDR3-1333MT/s or DDR3-1600MT/s as both of these speed ram will work. Search Crucial RAM

Hi, There are 2 RAM slots that support 4GB DDR3-1066MHz per slot to a maximum supported total RAM of 8GB DDR3 1066MHZ Non-ECC CL7 SODIMM. Replace the HDD with an SSD like the 2.5" Sata-3 Samsung 970 (Typo, read 870) Evo V-NAND up to 2TB.

Puraw, the Samsung 970 Evo V-NAND up to 2TB is an M.2 SSD drive and this laptop DOES NOT HAVE AN M.2 slots its an Aspire 2011 model laptop, the 2.5 Samsung is the 870 EVO, I own one of these Aspire 5750G laptops and I've done all the upgrades described above. @ Vugar do the upgrades I've described above as they work 100%

Typo Steve, thanks for noting that: I meant the 2.5" Sata-3 870 Evo V-NAND (not 970), I still remember that you made the same typo last year 😀

That is ok and not a problem, but you should know the Samsung range of drives as you keep referencing them all the time in your posts🤣
