To get 2667MHz Dual Channel Mode (maximum RAM speed) you need to match the 4GB RAM module soldered on the motherboard. Remove the 4GB module you just installed and boot to Windows. Open the Command prompt and paste this: wmic memorychip list full copy the brand, and part number and buy exactly the same 4GB module (every letter of the part number, including the suffixes like AD or AC. need to be the same). If it is a 3200MHz module the system will still downclock to 2667 MHz, if the new module does not match the soldered RAM module the system will run in Single Channel Mode at 1333 MHz. You should check that in Task Manager-Performance-Memory tab.
Edit: It looks like this model has 2 removable RAM slots without soldered RAM, ignore this post and follow StevenGen's response below.

You must have different CAS # Latency ram mixed together and that is why the ram speed is different, you must use only the ram modules listed below which are recommended and have been tested for this laptop by Acer., for the speediest ram use the DDR4-3200MHz type ram listed below and put the ram size (GB) modules as listed below into Slot 1 and Slot 2.

The memory information is from the Aspire 3 A315-59 & A315-59G service guide and is this laptop memory specs and the modules suggested by Acer for your laptop, follow these specs and memory combinations and only use the modules listed below. Good luck and hope this helps you out

Also never mix different ram brands or type or even years. Always by a pack with the two same ram. You may 8gb and want to upgrade to 16 gb it best to buy two new 8gb and sell the one from the laptop.

Brands can be mix if they have same specs. Also getting in pack is easy choice.
