If the GTX960M gpu doesn't work then the dedicated gpu is faulty and needs to be disabled or the mainboard needs changing with a working GTX-960M gpu, as these gpu's cant be changed or fixed as its soldered onto the mainboard. But you can still use the Intel 6th Gen cpu graphics of the VN7-792G laptop.

As a last fix make sure that the bios of the VN7-792G laptop is up to date to version: 1.09 and all windows 10 updates are updated.

For the NVidia driver of the GTX-960M Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) 18.0.8.0 to completely uninstall all previous NVidia driver from your laptop that could have faulty files that stop the latest NVidia driver installing on your laptop, then install the latest driver for the NVidia GTX-960M gpu Driver Version: 560.94 and see if the GTX-960M gpu is recognized and working, if this driver doesn't work then do a Clean Install of the driver version: 560.94 and install the previous driver versions 560.70 then do the same and install previous driver version: 556.12 or 555.99 each time doing a clean install so that you delete the previous version and see if the GTX-960M gpu works?

If all the above drivers don't work, then the NVidia GTX-960M gpu is faulty and needs to be disabled by a technician so that you can use the Intel 6th Gen cpu graphics or if you want to use the GTX-960M you will need to change the mainboard for a working GTX-960M gpu. Good luck and hope this helps you out to solve the GTX0960M gpu problem.

See this guide here; Fix: Nvidia Graphics Card Not Detected on Windows 10 and do a Benchmark Tests like 3DMark as this test will 100% verify if the GTX-960M is recognized and working or if its not. Good luck bro.
