Aspire A715-43G RTX 3050 TI Gpu not being used

I tried using the RTX 3050 TI GPU in gaming but I can't. I use Windows 11, tried changing from Nvidia Control Panel in Global Settings and in Program Settings aswell, installed the latest driver update, the latest Bios update but nothing works. I have Ryzen 7 CPU with Radeon Graphics, I disabled the APU and tried using the GPU but it barely works even while browsing. Also the GPU is not appearing in Bios but it appears in Device Manager. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The RTX 3050 TI GPU in your laptop is only used for extreme graphics applications, as the laptop ONLY uses the AND Ryzen 7 integrated graphics processor which is the Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics, don’t forget that the Ryzen 7 CPUs integrated graphics provides some of the best and solid performance for an integrated graphics on the market and its quite a high end graphics, making it suitable for 1080p gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks without needing a separate graphics card. That is why the Nvidia RTX3050Ti GPU is not being used in your laptop much, as you are not using any intensive graphic programs that will need a more intensive resolution than 1080p with the games that you play.

Install either of these benchmarking software’s like 3DMark, Geekbench 6 or PassMark and see your RTX3050Ti performance stats, also and using a combination of these benchmarks will give you a well-rounded understanding of your RTX 3050 Ti’s performance in both gaming and professional applications. Good luck and hope this helps you out in understanding what the limits of your graphics are.

When I play a game the CPU is used 100% and it's getting REALLY Hot. The GPU is not used much and I have System Idle Process always 90+ in Task Manager. Is there a way to make the CPU use more resources instead of getting way to hot? This game that I play used to be playable before but since recently it started freezing, because of high CPU usage I also get tearing and the graphics get way down becoming unplayable after some time.

Change the NVidia Control Panel settings for this game to use the NVidia gpu only and see if the game improves, also install the GeForce Experience software and play that game within the GeForce Experience software settings as that is how NVidia wants their gpu’s to be used with their ultimate settings for games through that software. Also make sure that you have the latest bios updated and if there is a firmware update for the RTX gpu install that for your latop model, as all this also helps with the gpu gaming capabilities. Good luck.
