You can upgrade your Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53-72W3 Laptop up to a maximum memory capacity of 32GB Memory, 2x16GB 3200MHz: Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT2K16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com the two RAM modules need to be identical like in the Crucial link otherwise it won't run in Dual Channel Mode at 3200MHz. If you want to add one 1x16GB-3200MHz module to the existing RAM make sure that ranking CL and voltage are identical, preferably also the brand, Google the part number to find the same module on the internet.

Then you need to buy compatible 16GB to with preinstalled ram for 32GB Dual channel.
I do NOT recommend using two ram sticks of different sizes. Waste of money, If you want best ram performance then make sure
- Both ram sticks to be of equal size
- Both ram sticks to be of equal voltage
- Both ram sticks to be of equal CL (cas latency)
- Equal mhz DDR4/5 ram sticks
You should check Crucial 16GB RAM sticks as they are compatible with your motherboard and with most of preinstalled ram like acer. To check the specs of your currently installed RAM, download CPU-Z and check the RAM details. CPU-Z will show you the RAM model number and part number, which you can search on Google to get the RAM specs details and compare them with the new Crucial or any other RAM brand. Also, make sure not to get any XMP or any overclock supported ram.

Some additional advice for you. install CPUz and see the exact spec of your existing 16GB stick of ram that is installed in your laptop, match that spec, it should be a DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 type ram module. These are all the oem Acer fitted type of 16GB DDR4-3200MT/s modules, so see if you can get the same as below with the Acer part number as a reference, as this is the best method of increasing ram and matching the 2nd module to your existing ram. Good luck
