Nitro AN515-57-N20C1 charger stopped working properly and will not connect unless at precise angle

I had the Acer Nitro laptop for a while, the charger has stopped working properly and will not connect unless at a precise angle, intermittent connection and replacement will not connect for long. The light will show but will not stay lit solidly for long. After a few failed attempts at linking the light flashes for even intervals along with the blue light.

What type of charger are you using, USB-C or a barrel plug power adapter? post your full Nitro laptop model like Nitro 5 AN515-57-53SB. If this is a barrel plug adapter with a DC pin size not compatible with your DC port size, the charging will fail like you described, when the DC port is damaged/burned because a wrong size DC plug was used, any replacement adapter will fail to charge. Inspect the DC port if you see dark burn spots inside, do you hear a click when the adapter plug is fully inserted in the DC port, when you wiggle the inserted plug are the battery and power LEDs reacting? The DC socket can be replaced by Acer Services in your country, not an expensive repair, some models even come with a cable and plug and are not soldered, easy to replace.

Barrel plug power adapter.
Nitro AN515-57-N20C1.
The port is clean and free from burn marks.
I do hear a click.
The LEDs Are reacting.

The DC power plug pin should be 5.5mm O.D. x 1.7mm I.D. (thick type) not 3.0mm O.D. and this is the Delta adapter that comes with the 2021 model laptop
