ES1-511 Freezes and Locks up consistantly. Not as bad after upgradjng ram and HDD to a large SSD

When I was handed this laptop, it was after the Upgade to windows 10 was released and had just been upgraded to windows 10 home edition. It was having all kinds of issues where it would run extremely slow, and most the time it would freeze within 20 minutes after being turned on. (Unsure if this is a CPU overheating issue as the fansnever turn on until it freezes and locks up the laptop.)

This being said I over looked the Freezing aspected if this, noticed the RAM, CPU and HDD loads were always just about maxed out all the time which seems pretty obvious that something needed to be upgraded to preven the usage and loads from being so heavy.

I upgraded the RAM and HDD the same day together. I don't remember anymore if both components were crucial (as this was 2 years ago now and been side tracked by life) but i know the SSD is a crucial 1TB and i followed the instructions as per website. I am unable to findnthe original HHD anymore. (Packed away somewhere along with the original like 2GB samsung ram stick, I still know wher that is.)

ANYWAYS..... After do this upgrade to the ES1-511, it actually seemed to wake it up and extreme amount and take a ton of load off of it (I also turned off all the start up features as if I need then I can wait when I go to open the application). This had brought the the extremely High loads and usage for the CPU, Memory and Disk down dromatically!

Windows task manager numbers.

CPU idles around 2% now, verys from 1%-6% sometimes. (Fantastic! It was around 50%-60% idling or higher all the time before, not sure if power managment settings played a roll in that as i was learning a pile of stuff starting with this laptop). And any load before it was upgraded ramped it up to close to 90% all the time. Just noticed not doing anything that "microsoft content" jumped the CPU to 25% for no reason unless this is part of a start up feature. But after sitting for 10 minutes this CPU is sitting at 0%-1%. it was really bad before with a ton of unessecary programs andstart up features turned on..

Memory (RAM). Before upgrading this from 2GB to 8GB it was just about maxed out all the time, didn't matter what was going on Idle or under load. Now it sits at a moderate 21%. I would assume thats what has been gathered over time from windkws 7-10 updates and OS. this would make sence why the original 2GB RAM was contantly full at 80%-100% load jus5 idleing and extremely slow.

The disk usage is at about 10%-12% now at idle. And before upgrading from the 256GB HHD to this 1TB SSD I believe it was around 60% load idling.

Sorry the original Idle loads after windows 10 upgrade might be a little pit off but basically moving the mouse kn the screen, navigating windows would almoat put the entire system at full load and was extremely slow! opening uo any program was like trying to surf the web on Slow dial-up connection, not even high-speed dial up!. and that was not online. put this thing on high speed internet and you would have thought it was still running dial-up but the laptop was just so slow from the begining before any upgrades.

ALL THIS BEING SAID, THE MAIN ISSUE WAS! This laptop would freeze within 20 minutes of run time not even opening uo any programs. just navigating through windows. The upgrades helped extremely. I never had an issue with it freezing and locking up until recently this week (2 years later after the upgrades). I can across someone that seemed to claim that Intel runs a generic programing across all pc's/laptops that will allow the CPU to get upwards of 200°C (not dure if he meant the fans try to kick in or if that is the thermal limit before it tries to protect itself). This led me to notice that the fans never tern on on this laptop until it locks up freezes. and It deffentily feels extremely warm underneath where the intake fan is.

I have not left it plugged in and let it throttle the fans while while jt is frozen for more then half hour as I am etremely worried it will melt the motherboard of CPU.. (If it has not already melted the motherboard somewhere. i have a driver issue as well that I am unale to resolve) I would like to let it run the fans while frozen and locked up but I think it will be a baaa-ad idea… I have to perform a Hard restart everytime this happens and i do not like do that as i have been told it is very hard on all PC's to do this.

ALL THIS BEING SAID, is there a factory windows way to search the CPU temp and fan speeds without downloadjng a 3rd party program? The Intel H20 BIOS is not very good with very little settings and control, no diagnoatics and not sensing features. Is it possible to install a usefull BIOS? And as I was wondering, is there a powershell or command prompt that dislplays the fan speeds and temperatures factory in windows? There clearly has to be.. Where else would the third party application get its information from?

Also if anyone else has an Overheating or freezing issues with an Intel processor, how dowe resolve this? I've been ver skeptical of being pointed to HWiNFO for fanspeed controls and temperatures as i hate downloadjng things online that are full of malware and people that pretend to display the product on fake websites.

Everyone tells me HWiNFO is the go to for this stuff. I would like to see what windows tells me itself in the command prompt or powershell. only have 2 yeaes of experience ans reseach with PC's. very sceptical of everything. even anti-viruses. As usefull as they are, them themselves is a virus and malware. difficult to trust anything unless you buold it/code it yourself I am.noticing and i do not fully understand code or even have a clue yet what i would be lookking for if there is broken code somewhere. Pretty much need to stop time to learn this sruff before a guy is anchient and dead...

Any help towards freezeing and factory temp/fan controls would be greatly appreciated! Looking for an offlkne solution first before I install all that garbage please!

I tried to edit the grammer mistakes but they won't let me. I have no control over anything.
