Is it worth to shift from Windows 10 to Windows 11 OS ?

Windows 11 and Windows 10 are both operating systems developed by Microsoft, but there are some key differences between them. Windows 11 features a new user interface with a redesigned Start Menu and Taskbar, improved touch controls, enhanced security features, and integrated widgets for quick access to information.

  • Revamped User Interface. ...
  • Improved Performance. ...
  • Enhanced Gaming Experience. ...
  • Optimized for Hybrid Work. ...
  • Improved Touchscreen, Pen, and Voice Inputs.

Windows 11 is better at processing background information meaning that you get a smoother experience of your computer. Less powerful devices, for example with less RAM or limited CPU power, will experience a boost in performance from Windows 11.

Windows 11 is worth the update for most people. It comes with a wide range of new features, performance improvements, and design changes. As the latest Windows OS, it usually gets more attention than Windows 10, too. There's not too much risk in upgrading to Windows 11, either.

Hi @vmapu if it's worth it, Windows 11 manages resources better, especially memory and processor, but it will depend on the computer you have, what is your model?

    All the best.

Don't update. It is said that windows 11 is better then windows 10 in every field. But that's not TRUE. Windows 11 is full of bugs, ads, system apps and consume much more cpu and ram usage.

I downgrade frofrom windows 11 to 10 two times. Windows 10 Much is much more cleaner and smoother.

Windows 11 may work better on high end system as advertised but it's not for us who have low-low-mid range system.. In future it may get fixed and improved but currently its not worth to update.

You have no option, Windows10 will be phased out next year, you will only receive security updates, but no more system updates and programs/components will gradually run better in Windows11, just like when people stuck to W7 in 2014 but gradually moved to W10. I have been using Windows 1.02 from 1986 onwards and find W11 the most versatile, most stable and innovative OS with great support. 😀

There not much reason to respond to AI generated posts like this. Typically they are used to embed malicious or promotional links, but it seems this one either wasn't correctly setup to include the link, or the forum software is getting much better at striping them out automatically. :)

    I think so.

New hardware will make Win 11 a pleasant experience. Old hardware will probably give you problems.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have an old SONY laptop running

As to "AI", that is kind of a joke and annoyance IMHO. Unless you are using programs where AI is actually used. Seems to me that AI is the next best data miner for the big boys.
