Hello,

I am connecting my acer triton 500 se to thunderbolt 4 enclosure, but for some reason I am only getting 1GB/s speed instead of 3GB/s speed. The laptop has 2 thunderbolt 4 ports. I tried both.

The nvme I am using is samsung 980 pro which is more than capable to these speeds.

The enlosure I am using is Ugreen CM642 Thunderbolt 4 40Gbps.

I also own macbook air M2, and when I connect this nvme enclosure to it, it works fine and shows 3GB/s speeds.

So, I am wondering why my acer laptop is not utilzing this speed? Has anyone tried thunderbolt nvme enclosure on their laptops?

I am running windows 10 home. Thunderbolt center app sees the drive. I tried reinstalling Thunderbolt control center as well as thunderbolt drivers, but still no luck.

The laptop specs are:

ACER PREDATOR TRITON 500 SE 16" LAPTOP I7-11800H 2.4GHZ 16GB RAM 512GB SSD W10H

Would really appreciate any help on this matter.
