My desktop did a BSOD and won't let me past the acer screen to bios or boot order. CMOS battery swap didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have tried reseating every component and power cycling, clearing bios, nothing has worked so far.

There is a rogue driver that stops Windows from booting. Reboot and as soon as you see the Acer logo press alt+F10, this will start WindowsRE with the blue Troubleshoot screen. Select Advanced-Restart-F4 (Safe mode). If that works you have to run MSconfig.exe with the Windows Key+R and select Safe Boot, in Services hide all the Windows services and disable the other services and click on Apply. Reboot and repeat the MSconfig.exe routine, each time enabling a few services, Apply and reboot till the system hangs (won't boot to Windows). To speed things up you can skip the Services disabling and only enable Base Video as that is often the cause of unable to boot to Windows. If you can boot with Base Video you have to uninstall your display drivers in Safe Mode with DDU and just reboot.

If all this sounds too complicated you can simply choose "Reset this PC" without losing your files after you press alt+F10 in the Troubleshoot menu.
