    • Is it safe to use my Acer Nitro V15 ANV15-51 in a temperature I believe is about 8 degrees Celcius?

    Anyone please I must know is it safe to use my laptop in cold temeperatures like 8 degrees and not risk any kind of damage from any component or the screen? I heard Humididty can be an issue and tiny droplets may form with hot air mixing with cold.

    For safety in my opinion I store the Laptop under a blanket a very thick one, I dont know if this works to protect the battery and the laptop.

      The equipment is prepared to work within that temperature range of degrees Celsius and I tell you that condensation only occurs when there is a sudden change in temperature, that is, when you have the equipment already in use with its temperature and it moves at that moment from the place where the equipment was to a very cold environment.

      If you turn on the equipment in a cold place and it stays in that place, condensation should not occur, in the case that it changes to a warmer place, you should turn off the equipment, let it cool down and once it has acclimatized to that new place, turn it on.

      As long as it is not in a place below zero degrees Celsius, the equipment should not have problems and what can happen is that the fans do not need to work as much.

      Another issue is working outdoors, in cold humid environments if it can receive that humidity that can be avoided in part by keeping the equipment under a roof of any material, such as fabric or plastic.

      My comment is not from a specialist, it is based only on my personal experience.

      The normal temperature range for laptop computers typically varies depending on the specific model and manufacturer. However, in general, most laptops operate within a temperature range of about 50 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 35 degrees Celsius) when used in a typical indoor environment. I worked in the Gobi Desert (Mongolia) in the winter with temps -40 degrees and I can assure you that no laptop boots below 10 degrees Celsius, we had to keep our cabins above 15 degrees Celsius.

      It is funny you mention this, about "not booting below 10 degrees celcius" I booted up my laptop once from a cold start and because I am constantly fearing the temperatures around it, booted up the nitro sense app, it told me the system at that point was 8 degrees, I can assume lower due to obviously having time to get warm during booting. If Nitro sense is reliable enough for this, I do not know, but that was the info relayed to me
