1 1/2 years later, still no help: Helios will NOT wake up with bluetooth KB or mouse

Has it ever woke up with any kind of wireless mouse or keyboard? Mine depends on whether or not the wireless mouse & keyboard have physical on/off switches. The ones with physical switches sometimes don't work reliably. Then the laptop's own keyboard, screen or pad have to be tapped to wake it up.

I've only tried the keyboard & mouse I own (Logitech K400 Plus & Logitech M510, both with switches) My previous HP Envy notebook had no issues with these whatsoever though
It is a complete pain to have to do it with it's touchpad, both literally & figuratively as I experience back pain & keep the lid closed as the laptop is slid in a small space on a shelf that I have to constantly bend up & down to access (Laptop stays hooked up to TV while wireless keyboard is used nearly 95% of the time)

Yes, it was turned off, but the "Wake on USB with lid closed" option was checked. I enabled it, but still didn't do a thing. Tested it & still had to get up & fiddle around with the laptop's touchpad to wake it up.
This is just beyond frustrating & ridiculous. Such a basic function like this can't be achieved

As mentioned earlier, some USB devices with on/off switches don't always work reliably. Furthermore, your mouse & keyboard are both Win7/8 era models. Accordingly, they probably are fine with laptops that can run earlier major Win10 versions up to about 5 or so years ago. But they may not be completely functional with later major Win10 & Win11 revisions.

You can also check whether your USB Input and Bluetooth devices support Wake On:

They seem to be listed under that, but still won't work

Since they're cheap enough, try a new up-to-date Win11 compatible-mouse as a quick test against your vintage 510. Also, BEFORE installing any new mouse or KB drivers, install the updated serial I/O driver from the Acer downloads for this helios model.
