I have Predator helios 300 i7 12th gen ( PH315-55 ). I purchased it on November 2022. From the last week it's battery is draining really fast. It's only able to last around 1-1.5Hrs, before that it used to last around 2-3Hrs. Note that I don't do gaming and other high performance required stuff, I only do coding and normal browser surfing stuff. And I don't know how but its charging speed has also increased, now it takes only around 30-40 minutes to get fully charged but before that it used to take around 1 hour. I also tried updating the laptop but I'm still facing the same issue, the battery is draining really fast. Can anyone help me with this pls?

1-1.5Hrs battery lifespan with a 150W RTX 3070 Ti dGPU is normal, for that reason you should leave the power adapter plugged in 24/7 to keep the battery 100% charged otherwise the system will throttle power to the GPU & GPU and performance will drop. If you have any battery charge limiters running like Acer Care Center 80% battery charge limiter, disable those or better uninstall and check in Windows Services that ACCsvc or acc Agent are not running (stop and disable the Start type). To find out if the charging is 100% and the battery capacity is still good run a Windows Battery Report, paste this in the command prompt opened as administrator: powercfg /batteryreport.

I have 140W 3060. I have ensured that the battery charge limiters are disabled and ACCsvc or acc Agent are not running. I was not facing this issue until last week but then suddenly my battery performance degraded, I'm not sure why this is happening.

Run that battery report and open it with the Edge browser, right click on the opened report and select "Print to Microsoft PDF" all pages. attach the PDF file to your reply. Also list what background processes are running in Task Manager (should be about 50 only). If you have a lot of processes and you don't know what they are you probably have a lot of bloatware, 3rd-party, trial versions, browsers and AV programs running, uninstall all those but for McAfee AV and others you need to download their uninstaller as Windows won't be able to uninstall everything. These programs consume a lot of your resources, Also, uninstall Acer Quick Access or at least disable the option that keeps the USB port running while the laptop is shutdown. Microsoft recommends disabling Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does".
