Neither keyboard or mouse are working - mouse has red light displayed. All I have on screen is 'right country' but cannot click to move on!

Hi @Terryf48 please indicate the exact model of the computer and the version of Windows installed.

    All the best.

Did you open the mouse, remove the dongle, and plug the dongle into a USB port?

Thanks. However did not have a dongle, and no cables other than for power. Mouse is still not linked but red light active.

Did notice this morning when switching on again a message on initial screen the briefest display saying Keyboard error! Cant quite see how that would affect Mouse! Presumably a seperate problem??

Do you have the possibility of connecting a USB keyboard and mouse to finish the installation and then check if the problem disappears?

    All the best.

Unfortunately the only alternative keyboard and mouse do not take a USB.

I think the keyboard and mouse are wireless with a USB receiver, put it in another port and try again.
If you have other wireless devices nearby, turn them off to avoid interference on the mouse and keyboard channel.

    All the best.

If your mouse and touchpad are not working you can navigate in Windows using the tab, space-bar and the 4 arrow keys. When you want to change app or shutdown press the Windows key + X and scroll with the arrow keys then press Enter.

Sadly it does not work - the keyboard just does not work!

The dongle should be inside the mouse, next to the battery. You have to take it out of there and plug it into one of the USB ports on the computer…
