I have a Nitro 16 and I wanted to upgrade the RAM on it so I bought a 16 GB Kingston Fury RAM and I installed it but then the notebook wouldn't turn on. The problem is that when I only left this 16GB RAM memory and removed the other two original 8GB ones, the notebook started, but when I left a slot with 16GB and another with 8GB, the notebook doesn't start. I would like to know if this is a problem with my computer that was defective or if it is happening to other people.

    Hi,

Most probably the original RAM sticks are having JEDEC profile and Kingston Fury has XMP profile, if you tell us the part numbers or the details of original RAM we can be sure of that, if you want to use memory modules with XMP profile, you need to change both modules, you can not mix different profile modules, system won't boot.
