I go to the local shop and they change thermal paste in my laptop. After do so My idle temperature is above 80 degrees
Celsius. I think they did not do good job.
So i need to know how do i change thermal paste and thermal pads in my laptop.
I need to know what brand thermal pastes are good and what thermal pads are good for it.
And what is the thermal pads sizes.
Please help me.

There is only a 0.25mm thickness for PTM7950. Use for CPU and GPU

Let me clarify: use the PTM 7950 on the CPU and GPU. This phase change pad will change into paste form at a higher temperature. You don't need to care about the thickness.
Those gaps are for the VRAMs, use K5 Pro to replace that pink putty. This thermal putty will squish itself to fill the gap.Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.

Get the 40x40mm size
No, that pad is not sufficient to fill in the gap. Its thickness is only 0.25mm which is compatible with CPU/GPU only.

Acer has a guide of how to change Liquid Metal thermal paste for the Predator range of laptops which you should apply to your PT315-52 onto the CPU ONLY, the best paste imo is the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal for the CPU while for the GPU you should apply the Kryonaut Extreme is a high performance paste and for the VRAM chips apply their Minus Pad Extreme which come in two sizes of 120x20mm and 100x100mm @ thicknesses of 0.5.1.0.1.5,2.0 and 3.0mm. Btw I've just used these Thermal Grizzly paste and pads on my Nitro laptop, and these products are excellent and the best that I've ever used especially the liquid metal that has reduce CPU temps as much as 20C but be careful with liquid metal as its a conductive paste and it can destroy CPUs and mainboards if you apply too much, and if it spills onto mainboard circuitries and especially and underneath CPU and GPU so only apply liquid metal as per guide. The K5 Pro is available on Amazon but its not as good as the
Minus Pad Extremethermal pads that I suggested above. i also tried 0.5mm to vram chips and 1mm to others. But idle temp not decreased. There was 70-80 celsius in that situation 🥲. Now it has 0.5mm to all. In this situation idle temp 60-70. I used gelid extreme pads

You need to make sure that the Thermal Pad makes 100% contact with the Thermal Pad and that you have enough thermal pad material so when you put the thermal module on top of the VRAM chips the thermal pad makes 100% contact with the VRAM pads, so you need to stack the 0.5mm and the 1.0mm together to make 100% sure that the thermal module makes contact with the VRAM pads do that they get cooled and make contact with the thermal module just like the cpu and gpu.

Are you saying that 0.5mm and 1mm thermal pad should be stacked for vram chip? And should 1mm be used for everything else?

I'm saying that you should first use the 0.5mm on the VRAM chips and see if the thermal module touches any of them, if it doesn't then add on top of the 0.5mm pad the 1.0 mm pad as then the thermal pad will touch, as that is the whole purpose of the thermal pad to disperse the heat from the VRAM chip through the thermal module touching the pad. The cooling purpose is for the thermal module to touch every pad and the cpu paste and gpu paste to disperse heat through the thermal module tubing so that the fans disperse the heat through the laptop vents, that is how a laptop is cooled.

K5 Pro is not currently available for now. I used UPSIREN Thermal Putty UTP-8 and it works like stock thermal putty that came with the laptop. When using the thermal putty, you don't have to worry about the gap as it will spread out like thermal paste and make the best contact between the heatsink and VRAMs.
