Acer Predator PH317-53 BSOD upon waking from sleep
Since buying my Acer Predator PH317-53 in summer of 2020, I have consistently experienced BSODs upon waking my laptop from sleep. The error may read one of a few things, the two I remember being "unexpected store exception" and "memory management". There is at least one more I think, but I cannot remember it at the moment. This only occurs when I wake it up, and I've had no issues otherwise with BSODs. It runs Windows 10, and has since I bought it.

What type of RAM modules have you installed, if modules with XMP profile change those to standard JEDEC modules.
Boot to Safe Mode: In Windows Shift + Restart, go to sleep mode and wake the laptop. In case the system is crashing in Safe Mode, then the issue could be due to a hardware fault. However, if the laptop boots normally then you can try performing Clean Boot and see if the crash appears. I don't think I can test this in safe mode, as it will not sleep in this mode? When I close the lid, it responds only to pressing the power key to start up again. And there is no option to "sleep" in the start menu, only shut down and restart, in safe mode. How to I check those RAM modules and whether they are XMP?

If you haven't upgraded ram on your PH317-53 laptop then you don't have XMP ram as Acer doesn't fit XMP ram to these laptops. Those BSOD errors are most often caused by hardware failures, such as a faulty hard drive or graphics or memory, so you need to test/check all these components out if you have any faulty components, as the main culprit could be a faulty ram modules that could be giving you these BSODs errors and/or if the hard drive is faulty or the graphics drivers are up to date is factor too. I would also update the bios to this laptop last bios version 1.12 as all this helps and see if it fixes the BSOD problems. If you need to change the M.2 drive and ram this is a very good guide of appropriate components for your laptop for the Acer Predator PH317-53 RAM & SSD Upgrades. Good luck.

I have updated the BIOs, I'll see if that helps, though I do suspect a hardware issue. I did the Windows Memory Diagnostic, and chkdsk, and nothing looks to be bad
