The laptop starting turning off randomly even though the battery was charged, but afterwards I was able to turn it on.

After several times like that, the laptop turned off and since then I can't turn it on.

When I plug the power adapter I feel heat and I see the orange charging light on meaning the charging allegedly works, but I can't turn it on whether the power adapter is connected or not.

I tried pressing the battery reset with a pin in the back of the laptop but I didn't recognize any change.

I would really appreciate your help solving it 🙏

Thanks!

Hi @Netanel105 please indicate the exact model of the device and the version of Windows installed to check the behavior of the power and charging LEDs.

    All the best.

Hi, the model is SP513-54N. I can't tell the exact version of windows since the laptop doesn't turn on, but I did update to windows 11.

Indeed, the solid orange LED indicates that it is charging.
Is the battery completely discharged? I mention it because it may need some loading time but I imagine I've already tried this.
If you leave it on charge long enough, does the LED turn blue?
Have you made any changes to the team lately?

I did try to let it charge for several minutes before trying to turn it on, but now I tried charging it until full charge to see if the led turns blue. Unfortunately after letting it charge for a long time I now don't see any led light, orange nor blue. I do feel however heat from the laptop suggesting power is supplied to it.

I tried again pressing the power button, still - doesn't turn on, and no led light.

What do you mean by changes to the team?

I was referring to whether I changed any element such as disk or memory or performed any internal maintenance. If not, the equipment must be checked by a technical service to verify what the problem is, such as the battery or charging devices.

    All the best.
