Do a Ctrl+ALt+Del open the Task manager find the Acer Care Center and End the Task and relaunch the application. If this doesn't work try Uninstalling the application and reinstalling the version for your device from its Support page Software download section on Acer's website.

I fully agree, Acer Care Center is buggy and best to uninstall it, also check after you have uninstalled ACC Windows Services as sometimes the service or ACC agent are not removed.

how do i uninstall it fully then?

If ACC hangs/no response, end the app in Task Manager-Processes first.
If you installed ACC from Acer Support, check this link: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/remove-uninstall-entries-for-apps-in-windows-11.18793/
and this link: https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-different-ways-to-uninstall-software/If you installed ACC from the Windows Store you only have to uninstall it in "Add or Remove programs" (click on the ellipsis at the end. Advanced-Uninstall). After that check in Explorer C:\ProgramData\Packages\AcerIncorporated.AcerCareCenterS_48frkmn4z8aw4 and C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\packages\AcerIncorporated.AcerCareCenterS_48frkmn4z8aw4 if the program is gone, you can delete the empty folders. Check also Services if the ACC service is no more listed.

Did you install ACC from Acer Support or from the Windows Store?
0 -
well, i uninstalled it and downloaded it from acer.com support or that manual and drivers thing i think?

It does take a while to initialize ACC for the first time, after that it will open faster. I recommend you install ACC from the Windows Store it will be registered better in Windows11. Also make sure you disable the 80% battery charge limiter option in ACC, causing some issues. 😉

Oh Alright, I did limit my battery to only 80% so yeah

Don't do that it works counterproductive without any benefits for a longer battery life. That whole battery longevity story is a myth, check this community on battery charging limiting.

This becoming an on going joke. with the "Care Centre" app as just recently it has become very unstable to use. As I keep getting the following message.
The thing is each time I get it to work by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it from "Acer support site" I go through all the checks SSD, Battery, Memory. I close the app and all the detail that are done are remembered, but the next time I try to open the app as illustrated is the result. I use to keep the battery in good condition, as well as monitor the "RAM and SSD"
I have followed all the other advise that is on this forum to the letter, so any advise would be great.
I use a Nitro "AN517-53" with a "Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11300H @ 3.10GHz 3.11 GHz" and Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)".
Thank You.

I just went onto the "Microsoft Store" to down load the app again, and it said that the app is installed, so I clicked on it and the app opened up with no problems.

You might have two different versions installed, since the one from the Windows Store is a generic one and the one from the support site is specific to your model.

Honestly if it really doesn't wanna open i recommend acer sense (if you still didn't get the update) acer sense is pretty good but with missing features like resetting directly from the app but for me it still worked i can open it now.

I last night installed the "Care Centre" from the "Acer" Web site, switched of the lap top and went to bed.
I have just switched the lap top on and left it for 30 minutes and just tried the care centre and I got the above message, come on Acer sort it out as it is about time there is a need for a up-to date version is required.
