my acer aspire 7 battery light is blinking orange n i have not plugged it in , its ususally at 40 % 50 % 60 % when it started blinking i think but prolly at 100% n didn't notice till 50 % , why n is it broken n what can i do to make sure it doesn't cause any probelms in future, i've checked battery life in windows setings n its saying no issues . it happended once about 2 months ago n now again

    for my specific problem i posted above , my model is A715-76G n so far i see no issues when using the laptop , is it broken as its new , only a few months old n will it cause any future problems

    You need to keep the power adapter or USB-C charger plugged in 24/7 to keep the battery fully charged, don't let the battery deplete below 50% as that will trigger Power Plan throttling to preserve battery power and when plugging in the adapter/charger then the adapter/charger will have to work double to fast charge the battery and provide power to the system/games and that will generate a lot of heat, may even shut down the system. Also do not use the 80% battery charge limiting option in Acer Care Center but always charge to 100%.
