Is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB TUF Gaming compatible with the Acer TC-875-UC11?

Member Posts: 2 New User

I have been trying to upgrade my computer due to its speeds, I have gotten new RAM, and now I need a new graphics card due to how bad the integrated one is, I am asking if the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB TUF Gaming can fit/work in my computer.

The GTX 1650 has been tested in this desktop: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/Acer-Aspire-TC-875/200706, You would need a 300-Watt PSU. You can check with Nvidia or Asus if this graphics card will work/fits in a compact Acer desktop like the TC875 (power cable required?)

But first look at what type of drive you have and how much memory is installed. If you have a HDD instead of SSD and not enough memory it will be really, really slow.

Fire up Task Manager under your typical load and see how much memory it's using. Most modern systems will sort of work with 4GB, work OK with 8GB and work well with 16GB or more. IIRC your UC11 came with a 1TB HDD and 12GB of memory. 12GB should be enough for most usage, but would be too little for graphic or video editing and might be too little for some gaming. The 1TB HDD is your bottleneck though, adding a SSD and changing to boot from the SSD will make a huge difference.
