Greeting!
I would have such a problem that I bought 32gb ram instead of 16gb.
Factory 2x8gb 3200mhz.

The brand of the Laptop is Acer Nitro 5 AN517-55-53ZU
(12th gen I5 12500H CPU, RTX3050)

What I bought is 2x16gb 3200mhz.
With the new ram, I can't get a picture, only the keyboard lights up, the fans spin up, stop and after a few seconds spin continuously.

My observation is that the new rams work perfectly in the second slot.
None in the first slot.

It doesn't give a picture even after a long wait.

If I use it mixed with the old one, the rams also work with 24 GB so that I have to put the old ram in the first slot and the new ram in the second slot.

According to the Aida program, dual channel still works without problems.

What can be wrong if I use the new rams together?

The ram brand is 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM Kingston Fury Impact notebook memory CL20 (2x16GB) (KF432S20IBK2/32)

That memory is XMP profile memory and will not work at full speed on your laptop. You need regular DDR4 instead of XMP.

    Greeting!

Thank you very much for the answer!

So do I have to buy a ram that does not have an xmp profile?

    Crucial 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CT2K16G4SFRA32A which

I looked for things that don't have an xmp profile.

So it should work flawlessly with these rams?

Yes, that looks like it is the correct type.

    Hi!
    I bought the Crucial rams 2x16gb 3200mhz
but the problem is the same.

It does not give an image and I can use these rams mixed together.

Only the old ram does not work in slot 1, both new rams work flawlessly in slot 2.

What could be the problem? :(

We have been seeing lately reports from several users who have had issues with Crucial memory on many of the gaming machines. I don't know if Crucial started buying memory from a different manufacturer or not. Best is to send that back and buy from a different manufacturer than Crucial. :(
