SSD Upgrade ACER Aspire E5-475G-39SA. planning to upgrade my laptop from 1tb HDD to 1tb SSD NVME
Hello! I saw a previous forum about upgrading the ACER Aspire E5-475G-39SA's SSD. Upon replied by the admin, they've only mentioned that the laptop model can be upgraded up to 512gb. I am planning to upgrade my laptop from 1tb HDD to 1tb SSD NVME. Is it still possible? Also, is PCIE4 NV2 seems overkill?

This model comes with a 2.5" Sata-3 HDD bay and a PCIe M.2 slot 3.0x2 only for 2280 Sata or NVMe SSD (will have the same speed) For the 2.5" Sata SSD I recommend the Samsung 870 EVO V-NAND 1TB. For the PCIe Sata or NVMe up to 1TB no issues, Sata SSD will be cheaper.

Thank you . Are there any major performance issues if I try to install it with PCIE 4 NVME? Because that's the only SSD i found which is available in my location. Shipping aint an option as my upgrade is ASAP.

No issues with a Gen4 SSD but the speed will be almost the same as a SATA or Gen3 on the PCIe x2 port.

Thank you so much! Last question, it seems that the laptop could only handle 512gb SSD NVME as per mentioned, but I would like to upgrade it to 1TB SSD NVME, will it be possible?

512GB is recommended by acer but NVMe SSD up to 1TB has been installed without issues. 😉
