How to Enable Secure Boot (Acer Aspire 5)?
I've done all the things that I've researched. I did put a supervisor password at enabled secure boot, but every time I boot up my laptop, it still says in the System Information that the Secure Boot State is Off. I don't know what to do anymore so I went and asked here. If anybody knows how to fix this, that will be very much appreciated.

Secure Boot may flip back to disabled, watch this video (not Acer BIOS so options may differ)

Also try to reset BIOS (F9) and save settings on exit. Apparently, you need to set Platform in "User Mode", Secure Boot in "Standard Mode" and Load Setup Defaults (not sure all that is available in Aspire 5 BIOS).
Someone tried this (again not Acer BIOS, I don't think you have Legacy mode with your MOBO):
I had secure boot turned on my bios, but Windows 10 said it is off
so what solved the problem is
reset the bios
turn on legacy mode and restart .........that will say no os
go back to bios turn on uefi and reboot...still secure boot off
go to bios disable secure boot and reboot .....secure boot is off
go back to bios and turn on secure boot this time and reboot ......in windows hopefully like me your secure boot option will be on.0 -

Set a Supervisor Password in BIOS and write the password down somewhere in case you forget it, save settings and reboot to BIOS with F2. enter your password and see if you can change Secure Boot Custom mode to Standard. if that worked remove the BIOS Supervisor password.

You will get more replies if you start a new thread with your full laptop model and why you think Secure Boot is not enabled as that is the default setting. 😉
