First thing first I was following this guide on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stFeDIY-FEA&t=472s

and i was told the options are compatible, but he used a NH-U9S so his installion process is easier, I have been trying to find videos on removing the motherboard for this gaming pc which i have not found found, and I want to know if this particular motherboard is compatible with the NH-D9L fan.

Can you please let me know, thank you!

Maybe not completely. The recommended fan should have a maximum speed of at least 3800rpm, preferrably 4700rppm. Accordingly the Noctua will probably run at full speed most of the time with no manual control like the stock fan. What stock fan shown in the table below are you trying to replace? Why do you want to replace the stock fan?

Late comment- But i watched this very same video and have the same computer and cooler. You can* install it…. its just a massive pain and requires you to literally remove everything from your motherboard and removing the entire motherboard itself from the case, which involves messing with the front IO and so on. Then once you get the thing out of the case, you'll realize that Acer has glued the backplate to the motherboard. So you have 2 options….
