This model has two DIMM slots. It will support Dual-channel if you put two identical capacities and bus speeds.
Combining the 16GB stick and the 8GB stick should be fine, but the performance won't be as good as using two 8GB sticks.

Not much of a difference. Just about 5-10 FPS less than using 8GB+8GB.

Can you post the full model number of the Aspire 7 here? (A715-XX)
Most the Aspire 7 models support Dual-channel RAM.

@AnhEZ28 8gb of the 16 will run at 3200 and the other 8gb will run at lower mhz , right?

No, still the same at 3200MHz. It just won't utilize the best performance. The remaining 8GB of 16GB stick will just run in Single-channel.
