Hi i have ACER Aspire 5 A515-58M-76ED, Intel Core i7-1355U 32GB, SSD 1TB, Intel Iris Xe Graphics

Can i connect an external graphics card/eGPU? It has a Thunderbolt 4, and as i've read it needs a type 3 or 4 for connecting one.

Pls help.

Also its fan many times does some scratching sounds, as well as spinning very fast when starting ,even for the smallest tasks like opening Steam….

It's still in warranty

And also what type of graphics card would be compatible and good?

    Hi,

I have the same question for my Aspire A515-58P. Intel Core i7-1355U 16GB RAM, SSD 1TB, Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

I'm a newb and can't find any lightning bolt symbols near either of my USB ports and thus don't think my machine has Thunderbolt.

Sorry, The Acer Aspire 5 A515-58M-76ED does not support video output through its USB-C port. The USB-C port on this model is primarily for data transfer and an eGPU card is not supported.
