hello , I have an issue with my laptop acer Helios 500 model ph517-51 when I turn it on it loads then goes into the blue screen with “:( oops your windows ran into problems” screen then it restarts and then freezes on the predator logo. I tried to f2 it and didn’t find anything that helped. I tried f10 method and it says please wait then goes into a black screen. And once it said “no bootable device”. There isn’t a button for me to press to factory reset it other. So that’s everything I tried. What can I do now? Please help

The "no bootable device" message is indicating that the bootloader is missing or corrupted. If you already reset BIOS (F9 in Bios) and tried to boot WindowsRE with Alt+F10 just after the Predator logo there is not much you can do. Even booting with a Windows USB Recovery Disk will not easily fix the EFI bootloader, most people with boot issues choose to Clean Install Windows rather than attempting to fix the boot issue itself. If you want to try it, this is a good guide that requires a Windows USB Recovery Disk that you can make on another PC with the same Windows version: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000124331/how-to-repair-the-efi-bootloader-on-a-gpt-hdd-for-windows-7-8-8-1-and-10-on-your-dell-pc Note, there is a slight chance that one of the SODIMMs failed or got unseated, check that first by disconnecting the battery and removing the 2 RAM modules, secure one module or better replace it with a good spare RAM module and leave the second slot empty, or replace both modules if you have 2 spares. Reconnect the battery and try to boot.

the thing is I haven’t attempted to replace my ram so I’m not sure if the hardware got unseated. Let’s assume it’s a software issue and I’m okay with resetting the pc. Is the solution to just copy windows into a usb and download it on my laptop?
