I have an Acer Orion Predator 3000. Model Number: PO3-630GPart Number: DG.E2PAA.002

I have a GTX 1660 Super and intel i5 in my pc now. I was wondering if i could either upgrade the chip or the GPU, but i'm not sure about compatibility. Let me know if you know if i can upgrade to maybe a 3060 and an i7 or if that is not possible. also, if you find a graphics card that fits, could you send the link? Thank you in advance.

The PO3-630G comes with a 500W Acer proprietary PSU and mainboard and to upgrade the PSU for a new and a more powerful power supply its not going to work as the PO3-630G mainboard has 2x 4-Pin ATX power connectors while the new PSUs all have 24pin ATX power connectors which won't fit into the PO3-630Gs mainboard.

The PO3-630G came oem fitted from Acer with a higher spec RTX3060Ti or a RTX3070 gpu so consider these two gpu's as an upgrade for your PO3-630G desktop, see these gpu's highlighted below. The PO3-630G also came with an the i7-11700 or the i7-11700F cpu's. If you upgrade the cpu to an i7 make sure that you also upgrade the ram to at least 32GB @ 2x 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz but you should preferably be running this desktop with 64GB @ 4x 16GB DDR4 -3200Mhz as for the RTX gpu's that would be the best upgrade solution and also you should upgrade to the last bios version R01-A4 for this desktop. Good luck and hope this helps you out

These are all the cpu's that the Predator Orion 3-630/630G supports on its System chipset PCH: Intel B560 mainboard. Its Maximum memory is 64GB (using four 16GB modules) at DDR4-3200 MT/s 1.2V U-DIMMs.

Those should both work. You will see almost no change with the CPU swap but will see gaming improvement with the GPU.
