I would like to upgrade my PC SSD and RAM Upgrade (Acer Aspire 5 A515-45 R1YM)

Hi, I would like to upgrade my PC (Acer Aspire 5 A515-45 R1YM). It's strange that I didn't find bracket kit with SATA cable and screws inside my laptop or even inside its packaging. I saw in many YouTube videos that Aspire 5 series should come with SSD mounting kit. Where could I buy it?

regarding RAM, should I fit 8 or 16 GB? Thank you!

The bracket part number is: 33.HGLN7.001. About $10 and you can get it at https://www.zandparts.com/en/acer-33-hgln7-001 or here https://www.ebay.com/itm/203742259293

As you can see on the above table you have one removable SODIMM slot that takes either 8 or 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz standard JEDEC modules. but if you have 8GB soldered I recommend getting an identical 8GB SODIMM module (run this WMIC command to find the part number to order: wmic memorychip list full) as that will run in Dual Channel mode at 2667Mhz with 16GB that is plenty of memory for any application.

For the PCIe M.2 x3 2280 slot you ran install a Gen3 SSD like the Samsung 970 Pro, Acer recommends up to 500GB.

Not all Aspire laptop models come with a 2.5" HDD kit, so be aware of that, as its country specific for cost reasons. The below parts are what you need to add a 2.5" SATA-3 HDD or SSD drive to your Aspire A515-45 laptop, do not buy any other SATA cable as these cables are different and will not work, so only buy/use the below parts.
