Hello. I purchased a Nitro AN515-57 laptop. There is a problem with the touchpad: in BIOS I activated the touchpad - Main - Shift+S - chose PC2 (in I2C the touchpad didn't work at all). The touchpad works, but gesture controls like scrolling don't work. I installed the ELANTECH driver from the official site. It didn't help either. And there is no touchpad in Device Manager either.

    Hi,

Go to Acer driver support site and download Serial IO driver, you can reinstall it in Device Manager, expand System Devices in Device Manager, right click Serial IO driver and click update driver, then select Browse my computer for drivers and browse to where you saved the downloaded driver.

after selecting “Browse my computer for drivers”, select “Let me pick from a list of available drivers of my computer”, then select the listed model next from the first list.
