I have an Acer Helios 300 I7-12700h with RTX-3060.

recently I changed my windows and then I installed all the latest drivers from Acer support.

now randomly I hear a very loud pitch sound from headphones or when I play something that has a voice in it.

any fix or suggestion?
why is this happening? is it software-related or hardware-related?

Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

Power Drain: Turn off the laptop, disconnect all cables, and hold the power button for 15 seconds. This will perform a software battery reset that may resolve the issue1.

Battery Reset: If your laptop has a pinhole on the bottom (usually indicated by a battery symbol), you can try a battery reset. Insert a pin into the hole and hold it for 30 seconds2.

BIOS Defaults: If the problem persists, you can try resetting the BIOS to its default settings. To do this, turn on the computer and tap F2 to enter the BIOS. Press F9 to load the BIOS defaults, then press F10 to save and exit3.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it could be a hardware problem. In that case, you might want to contact Acer’s customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.

Please note that these are general suggestions and might not solve your specific issue. If you’re not comfortable performing these steps, or if the problem persists, I recommend contacting Acer’s customer service or a professional technician for further assistance. Remember to back up all important data regularly, as battery issues can sometimes cause unexpected shutdowns.
