Was playing Honkai: Star Rail as normal but suddenly game crashes and when i reboot it, im stuck at 3fps the whole time, opened other game but also extremely low fps.
The crash was at specific places, for example: Boss uses a specific attack, a specific map, a specific attack etc.
So i tried to restart my laptop but met with a BSOD with the stop code: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR
I thought it was because i turned off hardware acceleration but that wasnt the case, does someone else also have this problem?

My laptop specs are:
AN515-58 777x
RTX 4050 laptop GPU
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H 2.70 GHz
16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) RAM
Windows 11 Pro

Usually when you get a "VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR" with a blue screen of death it's a GPU problem. Your graphics adapter may be experiencing issues, your RTX 4050 graphics NVidia drivers may be outdated, or your DirectX and Windows may need updating, make sure that you have Win-11 version 23H2 installed. You can narrow down the exact cause by troubleshooting this problems.. To fix the error and get your PC running normally, follow these instructions, from top to bottom.

Note: that these instructions work when you're able to turn on your PC. If the error prevents you from starting your computer, try Windows' startup repair tool or boot your PC in safe mode and then follow the following methods.

Since the video dxgkrnl fatal error usually appears when your PC has a hardware fault, use Windows' built-in Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to confirm that. This tool finds the issues with your hardware devices and offers help to fix those problems.

To use the tool, open the "Run" dialog box using Windows+R. Then, type the following command in Run and press Enter:

    msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

You'll see the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter on your screen. Here, select "Next" and wait for the tool to find issues on your PC. Once the tool has found the issue, follow the suggested fixes to resolve the problem. Your message won't appear anymore. Good luck and hope this helps you out and let us know how you made out, as after you have fixed this error it would be a good idea to update the bios of your AN515-58 to its last version 2.10 also.

The troubleshooter detects this problem and says Trouble shooting couldn't identify the problem when i click either of them.

To troubleshoot the issues with your Nitro AN515 laptop, update graphics drivers, check for overheating, scan for malware, install Windows updates, reset graphics settings, check Event Viewer for error messages, and run a system file check. If problems persist, contact Acer support or a technician for further assistance.
