Touch Pad Sensitivity.

I own an Acer Aspire V3.571. My problem is that often when I am trying to move the cursor on the screen I accidently click. This results in accidently moving shortcuts on the homescreen and accidently selecting programs which I did not intend to run.

The problem is the pressure needed to 'click' is too sensitive. I can not find an option to adjust the sensitivity of just the 'click' function. Adjusting the overall sensitivity to the lowet setting still does not fix this issue.

Have you attempted to disable 'tapping' for clicks?

What operating system is on your V3-571?

Hi addlex90. If you are using Windows, just follow these steps:

1 - Go to Control Pannel, if you are using Windows 8 is more dificult finding it.

2 - Go to the icone " Hardware and Sound "

3 - In "Hardware and Sound" at the top you will see an space called ''Devices and Printers"

4 - There you will see the direct link to " Mouse", click on it and go to "property" or "sensibility". These options are not the same never. But the method is the same.

5 - You will stretch up or down the bar as you wish.

    I hope I've been helpful
