Since I cannot find a download for acer care center. I discovered I have "acer control center" on my desktop. Veriton M4660G. when I try to open it, I get this message "Acer Control Center service is still intializing. Please try it again later.". I cannot ever get past that message. I want to make sure all my drivers are up to date before upgrading to windows 11. Thanks in advance for assistance on this issue.

That's weird, I wonder why they don't have it on their support downloads page then… Let me try escalating to the moderators, maybe they can find out what's going on.

Restart and try again this is Acer's new Acer Care Center app, it takes some time to query the components when you run it for the first time or have not used ACC for some time, eventually it will start. Best way to check if new drivers are available is to visit Acer Support online for your model.

Acer hasn't done a version of Acer Care Center for the M4660G models.

    So,

So, where do I find the Acer Care center. All the searchs take me to a 2020 post that references links on acer's webpage that no longer exist. See below, there is not an applications tab as this references.

Acer Care Center can be Downloaded from the Acer Support Website

Where can I download Acer Care Center?

If Acer Care Center was not included on your product or has been uninstalled, you can easily download it from our support site.

    1. Visit the Acer Drivers and Manuals page.
    2. Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
    3. Select Application.
    4. Click Download next to Acer Care Center to save the file.
    5. Unzip the file you download, and run the Setup.exe file to install the application.

Note: Acer Care Center is not supported on computers with Windows 10 in S mode.

If they don't have one for this model, why do I have it on my desktop. I never installed it on this machine.

Are you the original owner? Maybe a version for a machine that is supported has been installed.

I am the original owner and it is the installed version the laptop came with.

Thank you, I would really appreciate that. It seems like a bit of guess work to go into all of the drivers and updates they have and guess which ones I need and if there is a particular order. Other computer brands have software that figures that out fo you.

One option that's been suggested is to install the version of Acer Care Center from the Microsoft Store…

I just downloaded the ZIP file from the drivers/download page

I did the setup , spinning, I hit cancel, it ask me if I wanted to cancel. yes as no other choice and it installed OK.

TC-895-UA92. I used to have it on here but one of my clean factory installed deleted it.

Seems to work OK. I ran hard drive and memory test OK.

Note you have to enter your SNID or serial # to enter the driver download page.

This is a work around that I have used, try running this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\ControlCenter\ACCStd.exe" from a command prompt, and then attempt to start Acer Care Center from the icon in Start or on your desktop.

Don't use the quote characters though.

    I hope this helps.

This is what I just downloaded and ran setup from the driver/download page. The "getting information" does get it in a minute or so

Yes, I am familiar with using the serial number which I did. It had about 30 results, multiplys in the same category and no documentation as to order or significance like other manufactuers update tool. Thank you for your suggestion.

I don't have a program called Acer Care center, it is called Control Center. Interesting, with all the little things I have been trying, I suddenely had a blue screen of death pop up shortly after logging in. I restarted and it is not do it again thankfully.

I read somewhere that the program at the microsoft store does not run nicely once installed. Was hoping I could a proven program direct from its manufactuer, Acer.

It's on download and drivers section of this page (to the right) and scroll down past the bios/firmware to the APPS section.

I downloaded it last night and executed on my TC-895-UA92

I'm not sure as what else to tell you ?
