My laptop has a label and is advertised as having g-sync with a Nvidia rtx4060. I can find no g-sync setting in the Nvidia control panel, and preferred GPU is set to Nvidia. I have used g-sync pendulum demo configuration and the g-sync checkbox doesn't work. I have now set v-sync to fast, lcd overdrive is on and that seems to be ok without affecting framerates much.

I am just curious since they advertise it but I am very satisfied with this display

Thanks all for all the suggestions!!

    Okay BIOS is version 1.19

Nvidia Control Panel updated Sunday v 8.1.964.0

Nvidia driver updated Sunday as well

Checked that all Nvidia services were running

No "Display" tab listed in Nvid control panel, net search, lots of people having this problem. Some people hooking an external G-sync monitor to their laptop and then the Display tab appears.

It then occurred to me that with the display setting in BIOS under Advanced set to "Optimus", it would run the integrated GPU under non-gaming conditions (sorry should have mentioned this has an AMD in it tho' I haven't seen the Nitro s offered with Intel). So I changed the Bios setting to the discrete gpu, RTX4060 on mine and …..viola!!!

So I turned the sync indicator on and we'll see if that pops up during gaming. I might leave the bios on discrete card since I hardly ever use the laptop on battery.

Thanks all again for the help!
