Hello, I have an Aspire 3 Spin 14 2-in-1 laptop which has Active Stylus support (Acer Active Stylus sold separately) and I have purchased an Acer Active Stylus ASA630 (NP.STY1A.016).

How do I get the laptop to recognise the stylus - is there I setting I need to turn on? I have tried a new battery and nib. All help and guidance, however basic, will be very gratefully received.

Yeah, you don't need an Acer specific stylus, and if you just use the "Acer Active Stylus" wording in a search you are going to get a whole bunch of different models.
