    • Rgb keyboard not working after ram upgrade in Predator PHN16-71-73LT

    I have read that you could upgrade to 64 gb of ram. well i tried and my rgb lights of the keyboard stop working. so i dropped down to 32gb of ram, same thing.  I went back to the original 16 and I got my rgb lights back on my keyboard.   I have also tried different brands of 32gb ram. crucial, g.skill ripjaw. and a couple others to no luck. But when I go back to the 16GB stock Samsung the lights start working again. I have updated the bios from the acer bios list. 1.13 or maybe its 1.31. i cant remember. i just know it was the latest. Any ideas?

      OHello! Can you provide the exact model of the computer? Example AN515-55. I don't think the RAM upgrade is related to the keyboard problem.

      You don't state any laptop model/number, but obvious deduction is that your motherboard does not use 64GB RAM and supports up to 16GB per DIMM slot. 😉

      Does the problem continue to occur? Did you disconnect any keyboard cables when trying to install more RAM?
