@jehxxxxx yes, it does. You will need a PD charger of at least 100W for charging the laptop through the Thunderbolt port.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Hello, this is helpful. I am having the same problem, but I am also very dense. Could you please direct me to some USB C devices at Best Buy or anywhere else that would accomplish this for me? Much appreciated.

Hello, I am having the same problem. This is very helpful, thank you to @AnhEZ28 and @William_mk2. However, I am also very dense. Could you please direct me to some USB C devices at Best Buy or anywhere else that would sufficiently charge my computer? Much appreciated.

While I am here, the reason I need an alternative charging method, is because the male jack to my Acer stock 230W power source became bent. I tried to straighten it, but the prongs only make a sufficient connection in the port when I hold the cord in certain positions, which obviously is not a permanent solution. QUESTION: Is there any way to repair the jack? Alternatively, is there any material that I could use to wrap around the jack so that it makes a full connection in the port?

    Thank you!!
