Aspire 5 SN Already registered I could not find an email address for Acer support in Romania,

I recently bought an Aspire 5 laptop from Romania, and I needed to download some drivers for it and inserted the SN in the Acer site to get custom drivers.

After setting up the laptop, I created and Acer ID account and tried to register the product but got an "SN already registered". Unfortunately, I could not find an email address for Acer support in Romania, only a service one, and they are a third party without access to the Acer platform.
I tried contacting UK support, maybe they can help. Until a reply if you have any more ideas (I will try to update the topic if I get a reply from them or a resolution)

    The solution was to write to the data protection officer (Privacy.Officer@acer.com) and request a de-registration of the device. After this I was able to register to my AcerID
