Hi all. New here. My bro-in-law gave me his old laptop. It had windows XP on it but kept getting BSOD. So I formatted the entire HD and installed Win XP Pro 32bit using a USB CD/DVD drive plugged into the USB and it installed on boot. Problem is the there are no drivers for the USB or WiFi. The USB ports don't recognize any other devices except a CD drive. How can I get drivers on it if there's no way to get anything in it??? Windows update is useless because XP it no longer supported. The acer site does not have any drivers for it either. Are all the driveers on Windows Home edition that came installed with it? I was hoping the WIn Pro would have all of them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I love that little laptop with it's bright screen.

Acer has stopped support for this laptop, its too old. Go to DriversHelp Acer AO751H as they have 69 files for this laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

hmmm… wait a minute. I just did a search on google and realized I was typing a number zero instead of a letter "O" in the SNID field which now shows Windows 7. Is that the OS that's originally came with it? If so , will that have all the drivers?

This site has all the drivers you need for this old laptop, win-7 included, see the drivers as they are listed for OS they are.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded a few but haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. Pretty busy trying to fix my car. I'll post back when I try installing those drivers to help others. What I don't understand is why can't Lenovo keep there own old files? All they need is a small HD on their server. They don't take up much room. They (all computer and software manufacturers) are always saying, "get more RAM", "get a bigger HD". Well, why can't they? I just don't get it. (please excuse the small rant)

😂Acer distributes work to others, give HelpDrivers a chance🤣, but I do agree with you, its frustrating when you go to Acer's Support page and they have your old laptop listed and there is just the manual there or nothing at all. I
