Hello,

I have seen a few posts about this, however none of the solutions have worked. I have faced freezing issues with my laptop since purchase in May, 2023. This only occurs while games are running. The laptop is always plugged in (battery at 100%), bios is v 1.15, and "performance mode" is activated. The screen just freezes until a hard reset is done. The fans are not running overtime, the system is nowhere near overheated or stressed.

I have 32GB of 4.8Ghz RAM and am always up to date on windows updates and graphics drivers.

Graphics - v546.33

PhysX - v9.21.0713

HD Audio - v1.3.40.14

Running stock OS (Win11)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not have to send this brand new laptop back to Acer for an indefinite amount of time.. Last year I faced a similar issue with my new Acer nitro freezing and it was almost 3 months before it was received back.

Just to provide a bit more info:

I have completed just about every troubleshooting step outlined in the other forums. I have done a full wipe and reinstall of windows, I have taken out all aftermarket hardware (SSD, RAM). I have tried booting in safe mode.

There is no indication that the system is about to freeze. My keyboard backlight is still responding to keystrokes, so not ALL software routines have been suspended?
